Higher Me

Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 10, 2026

1. Who we are

Higher Me is operated by One Two Nine LLC ("we", "us", "our"). We act as the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at hello@thehigherme.com.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data — email address, password (hashed), authentication identifiers.
  • Profile and journey data — your blueprint, reflections, evidence, vision board, custom affirmations.
  • Usage data — pages viewed, features used, device type, IP address, log data.
  • Support communications — messages you send to us.
  • Subscription status — synced from Paddle (e.g. plan, renewal date) for access control.

3. How we use your data

  • To create and operate your account and provide the Higher Me service.
  • To sync your journey across devices.
  • To grant access to premium features based on your subscription status.
  • To improve, secure, and debug the service.
  • To respond to your support requests.
  • To send essential service emails (account, billing, security).

4. Legal basis (UK/EEA users)

We process your data on the basis of (a) contract performance — to provide the service you signed up for; (b) legitimate interests — to keep the service secure and to improve it; (c) consent — for any optional marketing communications; and (d) legal obligation — where required by law.

5. Who we share data with

  • Paddle — our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all payments, billing, tax compliance, invoicing, and subscription management. Their privacy notice applies to payment data: paddle.com/legal/privacy.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers that run our database, storage, and authentication.
  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where strictly necessary.
  • Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information.

6. International transfers

Our providers may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

7. Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep it longer for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. UK/EEA users may also lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority. We aim to respond within one month. Contact hello@thehigherme.com.

9. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and vetted service providers — to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, but we work to minimise risk.

10. Cookies

We use only essential cookies and similar technologies required to keep you signed in and to secure the service. We do not use advertising cookies.

11. Changes

We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or by email.
